Agreement to These Terms
By using Find My Location Now, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. We may update this page from time to time — the date above reflects the latest revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
What This Site Provides
Find My Location Now is a free, browser-based tool that reads your device's position through the standard Geolocation API, reverse-geocodes it into a readable address, and displays it on an interactive map. There's no account, no subscription, and no guarantee of uninterrupted availability — like any web service, it can be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or issues with the third-party services it relies on.
Location Data Is Provided As-Is
The coordinates, address, and accuracy figures shown here come directly from your device and browser — we don't independently verify or guarantee their precision. Accuracy varies with your device, environment, and browser, and can be off by anywhere from a few meters to a few hundred meters. This tool is not intended for emergency, life-safety, or navigation-critical use — for emergencies, contact your local emergency services directly; for turn-by-turn navigation, use a purpose-built GPS navigation app or device.
Acceptable Use
Use this site for personal, lawful purposes. Please don't scrape it, hit it with automated or bulk requests, or otherwise use it in a way that abuses the free third-party services it relies on (see below) — those services have their own usage policies, and abusive use could get this site rate-limited or blocked. Please also don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or interfere with the site's normal operation.
Third-Party Services and Links
This site sends requests to third-party services — OpenStreetMap's tile servers and Nominatim API, and (as a fallback) BigDataCloud — to render the map and address, and links out to Google Maps and Apple Maps when you choose to open your location there. We don't control those services, aren't responsible for their content, availability, or their own policies, and once you follow a link to one of them, their terms and privacy practices apply, not ours. See thePrivacy page for exactly what's sent to each one and when.
No Warranty
This site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including — to the extent permitted by law — any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Find My Location Now and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any reliance on the location data, addresses, or map links it provides.
